Not sure if it's the right place to post, im 32 plus 3 weeks pregnant and I had a scan last week showing baby is head down but also showing larger by 2 weeks. I've been feeling a lot of pressure down there, it feels like a bad period is about to start and feels super heavy, I'm also getting this feeling like there's a lot of water about to come out?? No uti's or infection, I'm suffering from pgp, is this just the because the baby is bigger and head down? I don't want to waste the hospital time if it's nothing but I am so uncomfortable!

It's likely just pressure from baby's head. It can cause heaviness and at this stage the baby is starting to move down to engage - this can be quite uncomfortable! If you are having period type pains I would still run this all past your local maternity service just to be on the safe side. You are never wasting anybody's time by calling - that's what they are there for and it's a very common reason to call.
If you are able to, perhaps have some Paracetamol and a rest for an hour or so that may settle it down.

Thank you, I'll keep any eye out and give them a call if it gets worse

I’m also 32 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing strong period like pains for the last few weeks. I ended up phoning the labour ward yesterday and they told me to come in to get monitored and checked. I was actually having regular contractions but they sent me home in the end because my cervix was closed and now I just have to keep a close eye on things. They definitely won’t think you’re wasting their time they took everything v seriously.
