UTI 32 weeks

Hi all,

I have been feeling some pain and discomfort over the past few weeks in my abdomen and decided to get one of those home urine test kits. The blood in urine, ph and proteins have come back quite high. I have a midwife appointment on wed should I just wait until then to sort it or does it require more urgent action? Can I wait until the morning to follow it up?

If it’s a UTI I don’t think the midwife will be able to help anyway you’ll need a doctor.

Protein in urine can be a sign of preeclampsia. I think you should call 111 today.

Thank you. I’ve called 111 and they contacted my local Labour ward and said I have to go in to get checked over as they’re concerned about the pains I’m having.
