Back spasms at 39 weeks

I had a scan a couple of weeks ago and was told baby was pretty much back to back at that time.
I am having these painful twinges, like a sudden spasm in my back. I think it's when the baby moves, has anyone had this before ?
They don't feel like period pains/contractions but full on spasms like when your back twinges for a second

It could be contractions. Is it worth timing them?

Yeah I will time them but they seem random atm

Has anyone ever had this sort of pain and it turned out to be the start of labour ?
Dh isn't convinced 😆 like he's an expert !
But I've never had a back to back baby before so my only experiences are the classic tummy contractions
No pattern atm, just random twinges every now and then so maybe it's just the baby moving around !

Hi me again 😆
So I've had a show today, pinky brown discharge a few times on wiping and on my liner.
I'm getting alot of Braxton hicks now (what I think is bh anyway, as no proper pain with them just uncomfortable)
Do I need to ring the labour ward ? I'm supposed to be having a section on Tuesday
