Hi my little girl has had a cough for weeks, hospital confirmed she has mycoplasma bacterial infection and has been on antibiotics for it. I have been obviously taking care of her whilst she has this cough and she has numerous times coughed in my face 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I'm 6wks pregnant and haven't had any symptoms at all since her cough developed a few weeks ago. Is this something I should get tested for or be worried about in pregnancy ?
Just not sure as I've had zero symptoms.
Thankyou

I'm a microbiologist (not a doctor), and from what I understand yes it's contagious but most healthy adults will be able to resist getting ill from it. I wouldn't worry.. unless you do get a cough and start feeling ill! Then obviously go see the Dr and explain, but even then antibiotics should sort it.

Thanks so much.
I've been worrying!
