Positive test or evap line

I took an early pregnancy test. Initially the test was negative so I threw it but I had a feeling to look at it again. An hour or two later I got it back out and saw this dark blue line. I heard evaporation lines are colourless/greyish but this is fully blue. Does anyone have any ideas if this could be a positive or evaporation line?

How long did you leave it when you saw it was negative? They normally take 3-4 minutes to develop depending on the brand.

I would take another one to see.

It was about 5/10 minutes and it was still negative so I threw it away at that point. Looked back at it an hour later and it looked like this.

@Anonymous5601 I’d just take another test to be sure. It might be worth getting a digital one!

Jessforless · 07/02/2024 13:41

I’d take another test too

Positively positive

It’s an evap line - when it’s thin and developed after the allotted time it’s a cruel evap line unfortunately. Had a few previously!

I also had a strong negative 15DPO and I randomly decided to take another sainsbury test and it came back as this but I’ve been told it’s an evap line🩵

Thin lines are usually evaps, as it was also outside the time frame it’s almost definitely negative. Stick to pink dye tests, clearblue are the worst for this unfortunately

Thank you. I am unfortunately not trying to conceive but I sent all my best wishes to those who are!🩷

Hi, I’m a mum of 2 already. My youngest is 10! Definitely didn’t see myself being here again 🙈
so I had the copper coil removed in Dec last year after 9 years of having it fitted.
Inhave no idea where I am in my cycle because my periods have only been lasting 2-3 days since I had the coil removed & I havnt being paying much attention…
however..I did a test, just because I guess, because I’ve been extra grumpy and hormonal. I have done 6 test and 4 have come back with very faint lines, but I’m not convinced they are…or are they evaporation lines? Please help, I’m loosing my mind ❤️

Hi ladies, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on wether this is a positive or evaporation line? I’ve never used these before and I’m not sure. first response maybe 10-11 DPO not actually sure, line can only be seen held up in light and almost non existent on flat surface. I’m struggling to determine if the line has colour or not

Hi. Could someone please help me out. Ttc for 2 and a half years..
First time in 3 years my period is late, i'm 20 dpo, so 6 days late (7th today) simptoms like pms.. Took a cb test 2 days ago and came like this... Is this evap? I looked at it the whole time and it became like this in the 10min frame if not sooner. Tested again the next day with a different test (pink dye) and it was negative.. Still no perido..
