Hi x I'm 30w and got my physio telephone appointment on Friday. Does anyone have any tips what to say to make sure I get an actual face to face appointment with treatment rather than home exercise? Thanks x

Is this for SPD / pelvic girdle pain? A physio phone appt will be next to useless. You'd be much better off going to an osteopath or chiropractor who specialises in pregnancy, if you can afford it. There is tons of info at Pelvic Partnership (just google it).

@renthead unfortunately I can't, yeah it's for pgp and generic bad back that's why I want to skip to useless phone tips because I've done it all and it's clearly not helping but I don't want them to just brush me off :(

PGP both pregnancies, physio first time was useless, second time quite useful. But unfortunately there's not an awful lot they can do for PGP anyway. Tell them you're struggling, constant pain, not sleeping etc and hopefully you'll get seen. The thing that helped me most though was a pelvic support band thingy (Serola)
