Thoughts on Maca root to help conceive??

What’s everyone’s thoughts on taking maca root to help conceive? Read lots of research, but wondering what everyone’s thoughts are?

Personally I fully support it, I had come off the pill and it had been a few months with no luck so did some research and started taking maca root. I used to put it in cacao smoothies, I conceived probably about 6 weeks later. I know it could be coincidence but many south American cultures consider it a high fertility food source.
It does stink and taste rank just to prewarn you so if you do take it then put it with some other string flavours, and also do research on the brands as I think it has to be prepared a certain way or something. Or tablet form!

In my personal opinion, I'm against use of maca root. It completely messed up my cycles and took ages for me to settle back into a rhythmic pattern
