Not long found out I'm expecting at the age of 43 Blush. Am aware everything will be higher risk and more tests needed etc. will prob opt for a private NIPD test. At my age, what are the minimum scores that I'm likely to expect? Am I always going to end up in a 1:100 score situation and need for additional testing etc just because of my age?

Congratulations! I'm 41, and recently given birth.
If you can afford to go for a private NIPT then do it, you will almost certainly come back high risk automatically on the basic NHS test due to your age (I did and they confirmed that was mostly the reason, if you're over 40 it will put you at a higher risk) after the sonographer saying it would be highly unlikely for me to hear from them it massively threw me. I wish they'd tell you that you're likely to, then at least you can prepare!

Hey. I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant and due to give birth a month before I hit 40. I’ve had the quad blood test and have a 1 in 137 chance of having a Down syndrome baby but the 1 in 133 chance is due to my age. I’m going in tomorrow for NIPT test. This is my first baby so I’m unsure of how it all works but from discussions, but anyone closing in on 40 is always going to be high risk. Is a private NIPT different from the NHS one? Good Luck with your pregnancy, I know exactly how you’re feeling

I'm 41 will be 42 when baby is born. NT measurement was 0.8 and that combined with bloods gave me a risk of 1:450 for Downs and 1:5000 for others. This was listed a low/very low for my age.
My sheet said for my age average was 1:75 and 1: 700. No further NHS testing required for me.

I was 40 nearly 41 and had the NIPT done, they gave the probability based on my age and combined test and then the results of the NIPT, I've attached it to show you the comparison, it was such a relief getting the results. Agonising wait for them though

I had a baby at 44 years old. Background risk was 1:41 for Downs but adjusted risk for me was 1:551. Background risk for Pataus and Edwards was 1:343, adjusted risk for me 1:6,347.

So your age for Downs will be automatically below risk cut off limit but hopefully your other factors will adjust this to above cut off. Good luck.
