Pregnant after loss lots of brown blood/discharge and back cramps

I’m pregnant after a loss around Christmas. I’m now 7 weeks pregnant I had a scan last week where they saw the sac and was due another scan on the 14th. I’ve recently had brown discharge/ brown blood and really bad cramps in my back. This is how my miscarriage started last time. I have spoken to the midwife who has booked me in for a scan tomorrow they have said it can be completely normal to have brown discharge and pain. I’m trying not to worry but has anyone else had similar?

Hi I was in the same position i had a miscarriage last year and am currently 9 weeks, i had some brown spotting which turned red last week which is what I had last time so obviously I instantly assumed the worst was happening again, but I went for a scan at the weekend and everything is absolutely fine and I got to see a beating heart.
I know its easier said than done but try not to worry, its cruel but sometimes bleeding just happens and there is no answer or reason why x

Same happened to me. I had a mmc and then fell pregnant again. I had bleeding, back pain and was convinced I was going to miscarry. Everything turned out to be fine and I’m in my third trimester now. Hope you are ok and wishing you all the best xx
