Hi I am 15 weeks pregnant with my second child and came off my sertraline for the first part of my pregnancy. Just started on it again last week as I have started having the worst panic attacks I have ever had. My anxiety is sky high every day and wake in the night and can’t get back to sleep. So I’m spending half the night awake in a panicked state. Does anyone have any advice or similar experience. I feel so desperate and lonely with it all x

Keep taking it, give it time to work.
Have you done mindfulness/CBT in the past? Can you get some counselling via the midwife?

Yea I have done cbt before struggling to be able to get my head straight to use any of it when I'm having an attack. They are the worst iv ever had. I had referred again back to my local counselling place x

I’m sorry OP, I’ve been there and know how all encompassing it can feel. One thing that helped me was white noise via a Bluetooth headband from Amazon. It allowed me to escape from my thoughts a little and helped me drift off.

could you ask if proponalol is safe to take to ease the heart racing etc?
