Hi all looking for some guidance I'm 20 weeks pregnant and for the last couple of weeks on and off my nipples feel like they are on fire , it's not all the time it comes and goes is it normal ? And is there anything I can do to ease it , it's very painful when it happens.

I had this a lot, still get it mildly sometimes at 30+5. I had to take off my bra as much as possible and change to thin sports type bras when I couldn't get away with no bra to help the pain. I think it's just hormones as eventually calmed down for me. Wasn't fun tho!

I get this and have worked out it happen if I get cold. It's agony when it happens, I looked it up and it seems to be nipple vasospasm, essentially Raynaud's of the nipple

Omg I hate this I have it too. Pregnancy is harsh. I just solider on but there are creams or as PP said lettuce leaves

I've had this, also linked to being cold - as another poster said, seems to be a type of Raynauds. Warm them up as soon as you start to feel the pain coming on and it goes away!

I had this, and breastfeeding, the pain was unbearable. As pp said it's raynaulds. I used a hot water bottle to put on as soon as dc stopped feeding. I also linked it to being on Labetalol for high blood pressure and it went when I eventually came off them.
