5 weeks 2 days scan

I've had a scan early because I'm anxious after previous losses Im only 5 weeks 2 days, 5 weeks 3 days at the most. The sonographer said she sees two sacs. Then she backtracked and said there is only one "true gestational sac" because only one has a "faint yolk sac". My friend who is a doctor (albeit not an obs and gynae doctor) said that there are clearly two gestational sacs here. Any insight from anyone who is good at interpreting scans? Hi honey what’s the update . I went for an early scan too for the same reason . At 5 weeks she saw a sac with yolk and asked me
to come back in a week and I did .. when I was scanned again she could see a heart beat and we found another sac with a yolk which was definitely not there last week . She scanned me for a while last week to check my ovaries looked ok and no cysts etc and it was defo not there as I watched on the big screen . She was at it for a good 20 mins but straight away at this second scan I saw two sacs one with a flickering heart beat and the other she said has a yolk and it’s possibly twins to come back again in a week .. how did it go with you
