14 weeks and showing??

Hi everyone :)
its my first pregnancy and I was wondering is it normal to be showing at 14 weeks & 2 days? One of my “ friends “ said I just look like a fatty which really hurt so now feel really upset and deflated xx

It can be, some people show sooner than others due to genetics and build etc. I see a lovely little bump! I didn't see a noticeable one until 20 wks+!

People show at all different times, 14 weeks is not outside the realms of normal at all. Ditch the friend and enjoy your pregnancy!

You can get a lot of gas early on as well. I was smaller at 15w than 12w IYSWIM.

I had a hard little bump at 12 weeks but it was bloat I'm almost 20 weeks now and my stomach varies from quite a solid bump to a little squishy pouch! Can't wear my normal jeans anymore but not big enough for maternity wear so currently in leggings/joggers.. everyone is different as long as baby is happy and healthy in there it doesn't matter how big or small you are.
I've had loads of comments since I told work which is weird because no one would ever judge the size of a colleagues stomach in normal circumstances!

I couldn't hide it by 12 weeks so yeah very normal everyone is different

I'm exactly the same at 14 weeks, some people show some people don't. You're baby is about the size of a lemon but your womb will be bigger and obviously full of fluid. So it's no surprise you have a little bump 🥰

Bloating is super common in pregnancy which it looks like yours might be as your baby isn’t that high up yet. I bloated so bad with my second I looked 8 months at 8 weeks. Your friend is very insensitive though.
