Went to docs today as I am feeling WIPED OUT (9 weeks) I am sooooo tired it is untrue and was starting to worry that something was wrong.
Anyway long story short he is testing me for aneamia (spelling?)
Went home feeling sorry for myself and finally gave in to my craving for prawns (went to TESCO and bought some cooked prawns) wolfed them down like a mad woman (i normally HATE prawns)
this got me thinking - do prawns contain iron.....and YES THEY DO !!!
Apparently they are a good source of iron and zinc.
I am sitting here quite amazed that my body was trying to tell me for weeks that I needed bloody prawns but I thought they just weren't safe - till i read on here that they are OK if they are cooked !!!
Anyway just wanted to share and say LISTEN TO YOUR BODY _ ITS AWESOME !!!!!!
