My baby is now 7 weeks old and I'm just wondering if this could be my first period. I am not breastfeeding and haven't been for around 5 weeks now.
My lochia hasn't ever really stopped, it seems to slow down and then get heavier again, today it's got heavier again but this time with period like cramps in my tummy and back pain but more intense than my usual period pain.
Is there anything I need to look out for? Bleeding is not particularly heavy just the pains are quite intense in my lower tummy.
