Line progression

Hi ladies
So Ive been using the cheap home kits, got faint positives, so did a digital. Came back with positive. Rang midwifes and registered, midwife said I was 6 weeks plus by period date.
She advised not to use test strips and to try a clear blue. Which I did today?
What do you think of these lines? (Bottom is Monday this week, going up to clear blue this morning)
With my little girl I was 9 weeks before I knew. I don't know if I'm just panicking over silly things, I just expected stronger lines on strip tests.

hey , if the cheap strips were from Monday then that means you must of been 5 weeks pregnant and now 6 at the time of taking the clear blue ?
I think the cheap strips look more like 3-4 weeks , because they are so light . I am 4 weeks and my tests are dark , also cheap easy@home ones .
I feel like you’re more like 5 weeks now ( today)
the cheapies seem too light to be 5 weeks +
My cheapies looked this light when I was 3weeks + 4 days ,
maybe you can buy some more cheapies and compare them to the old ones ? It’s a bit difficult to compare with different brands xx

also depends when you ovulated , do you know ?

Yeah so I've been doing the tests every other day. And then the clear blue today just cus I was worried the line wasn't getting darker. Clear blue seemed to go quite dark straight away.
Unfortunately not, I had my little girl 11 months ago and periods have been all over the place since then. I gave up with ovulation tests as sometimes was going 40+ days without anything showing up.

I would 100% get the same cheapie tests tomorrow , the same brand ofcourse , then you can clearly see the difference as different brands is hard to compare , but obviously your clear blue is so dark now so you’re cheapies will for sure come out quite dark too from tomorrow ! Good luck !

But I would say you’re about 4 to 5 weeks pregnant today , by looking at the clear blue . I know your cycles are long and the doctor said that you should be six weeks but she doesn’t know when you’re ovulated , she’s just guessing .
someone could have 50 day cycle but ovulate on day 36- and get positive at day 50
(14 days after ovulation)
and someone can have 28 days cycle and ovulate on day 14 - and get positive at 28 ( 14 days past ovulation )
so you see , 2 different cycles but they are the same stage in pregnancy .
because the Luteal phase after ovulation is 10-16, always ! But it can be any number of days before ovulation xx

Why don’t you try a digital weeks indicator to give you an idea of how far along you are?

Made other half drive and find a digital test last night so I could do first thing today.
Eeeek. So according to packaging I'm 4/5 weeks!!!
I'll still get some cheap strips to check colour but this seems real now xx

Yes your were. I'm very excited. I said to other half I'd midwife still saying 7 weeks at least we might get a early scan, even if need to go back for a second one. Thank you so much xxx
