When did subchronic hematoma bleeding stop?

I had a huge subchronic hematoma bleed 8 days ago, bright red etc, went and had scan and all fine. Bleeding stopped after two days but today I've had brown blood with some stringy bits after going to the loo. Midwife didn't seem concerned when I rang her because I have no cramps but as it's the weekend I'm just looking for some reassurance if this has happened to other people?

@Flopsy145 ive had a big bleed at 12w and everything seemed fine with my babies. I’m 15weeks now and the brown bleeding just started to slow down. It ranged so far from dark brown to light brown, from heavy with clots to just spotting when whipping.
there are lots of stories out there and the brown after a bleed can last from weeks to month, depends on every situation.

It's just so worrying anything close to blood during pregnancy and tbh I think I'm still a bit traumatised by the massive blood loss I had and constantly on edge for it happening again.
I think if I had had constant brown blood since then I would almost be less worried than the stop and start 😂 but like you I've madly googled and there's lots of forums with mums who have had a mix of continuous and on/off blood, like you said think it really varies with each person. I have a midwife appointment and private scan on Monday so hoping to be a bit reassured then. Glad yours has eased off, wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy ❤️

I had a huge bleed at 12 weeks and bled constantly until I was 16 weeks. The SCH finally reabsorbed when I was around 28 weeks. My little boy is now 8.

@Flopsy145 i know what you mean, it almost freaked me out more when it started to slow down😂 it’s a crazy roller coaster and tbh i think the worry will never end. Now im constantly googling why my bump is not showing yet😅 so yeah i dont think it will get any easier soon!
