I am tracking the process because I want to move onto the next cycle and wonder how long this could take.

I have been spotting for two days (period nine days late). Yesterday was pink today is more brown.

can I expect this to turn into a heavy period?

Any insights much appreciated (don’t worry about TMI!)

thanks so much. 🙏

I think everyone's experience is different.

With mine I had lightish bleeding for about a week then really heavy bleeding for another week. My normal period flow is light-regular

Mine was super light, then red blood like a
period then I stopped bleeding for a day, then bled again 2 days later and another non bleed day before ending with 2 days of more bleeding. I was nearly 6 weeks though so mine was nearly in miscarriage threshold.

I had blood when wiped, then cramping started. I have had 5 chemicals, all went onto period level bleeding from spotting within 3 hours. So it was quick in my case.

I also found on the days leading up to it, the tests were getting lighter, so i guess the hormone levels were dropping :(

Thank you all for your replies! I think mine has started in full flow now. Quite relieved really. Didn’t like being in limbo just waiting.

@Pickles2023 Sorry to hear you’ve had this five times! 😔

@eatentoomanygrapes sorry for your loss. Mine started at 4+5 and was just like a normal period. I ovulated as usual following the bleed too so my cycle was just normal but delayed by a few days. Hope you're ok. 💕
