aha, I started a thread on this the other day. It's my 2nd baby and I was amazed to have braxton hicks so often and so early as only had them in the last week with ds. Lots of other 2nd and subsequent mums came on to say they had found the same.

I had braxton hicks more with my 2nd baby than my first, and from quite early on as well.

The braxton hicks were never regular, but although some people say they don't hurt, they used to take my breath away a bit.
