When was your last period? Are you pregnant? I know what I think it looks like but I don't want to say it 😢😢

Outliers · 25/01/2024 19:01

Decidual cast maybe.

hulahoopqueen · 25/01/2024 19:06

I'm afraid my immediate thoughts went exactly to what @BeckyPfromLeeds is thinking.
Have you taken a pregnancy test recently @Tazzy101xx ?

puddypud · 25/01/2024 19:18

How many weeks are you @Tazzy101xx ?
It looks like a blood clot or uterine tissue to me. Do you have any cramps too? Id give your EPAU a call in the morning if you're worried.

pmd1234 · 25/01/2024 19:38

It looks like a baby. Are you ok?

BackPainMisery · 25/01/2024 19:39

More details needed on your pregnancy.

LavenderSweetPea · 25/01/2024 19:54

It's uterine tissue, it's not a baby.

WhiskersPete · 25/01/2024 20:01

Of course it's not a baby. It's a blood clot or a bit of uterus lining.

BobbleWobbleHat · 25/01/2024 20:03

Have you had a positive pregnancy test? It looks decidual and they can be associated with possible ectopic. Although I had one (quite a bit bigger than that) and was not pregnant but on the pill which is also associated apparently.

Windymcwindyson · 25/01/2024 20:05

I mc an intact foetus and the 'tissue' was a definite blue colour.. Yours looks like lining imo.

puddypud · 25/01/2024 20:06

It is not a baby and it doesn't look like a baby. Fetuses are not made of blood!

pmd1234 · 25/01/2024 20:15

This is exactly what a baby looks like when it dies early in gestation and depending on how long it is dead. I am speaking from personal experience.

fatphalange · 25/01/2024 20:17

That is definitely not a baby!

I'm speaking with 15 years experience as a medical professional working in obstetrics. Babies are not made of blood clots, it is not a fetus.

Sunshinealways8 · 25/01/2024 20:26

Could you have been expecting without knowing? As you aren’t sure, suggest you go to either A&E or doctors with what’s came out of you(sorry really struggling for right words here)and let them do bloods on you to test for pregnancy. Even if you had been taking regular periods you can still bleed during a pregnancy. This looks like a miscarriage. I’m so so sorry if it is. 🙏

Tazzy101xx · 25/01/2024 20:48

Hey everyone! im not pregnant i had no positive pregnancy test this was my last cycle and have had a light period since. im 1000% sure its not pregnant. Im 22 and my periods are 42-49 days apart !! Im just concerned of a pcos or endo ? Sorry a bit misleading posting this in the pregnancy forum sorrrryyy!! 😂 and info or anyone had similar experiences?

pmd1234 · 25/01/2024 22:50

I do not give a toss what you are speaking with. I know what came out of my body!

crazycatlady2023 · 25/01/2024 23:03

Looks like lining to me.

I've had multiple miscarriages and it doesn't look like this.

aussiegirl89 · 26/01/2024 00:43

I had this before too - it's a decidual cast

A decidual cast is when your uterine lining—called the decidua—sheds all at once. When this happens, you will pass a uterus-shaped mass through your vagina. While the sight of the decidua can be frightening because it is bloody, fleshy, and may look like an organ, decidual casts are not harmful.

Botanica · 26/01/2024 01:48

Also believe this to be a decidual cast. I've experienced this myself but was never clear if it was triggered by a pregnancy or other reasons.

Deebee90 · 26/01/2024 01:57

It’s uterine lining 100%. I passed 2 in the bath once and nearly passed out when I saw them. I got it checked and it’s defo lining. I’m sorry for the people that have had mcs on this post but this isn’t a baby .

Kathy34 · 26/01/2024 02:50

Omg!! That looks like my peroid mess every month! Doc said it was a sign of endo and did scans and found a mass. I'd call gp

Sorry but I've had these too and it certainly was not pregnancy.
comp agree with peaches, I've had heavy periods since i were 13. This was normal for me!

SmileyClare · 26/01/2024 21:36

Looks completely within the realms of normal menstruation.

My periods are heavy but over quickly- only last 2 or 3 days and I often pass clots of blood like that or uterine lining.

The fact that you’re not experiencing any pain indicates there’s nothing to be overly concerned about.

SmileyClare · 26/01/2024 21:39

You’ve posted this in the “pregnancy “ section so I can see why the first few posters assumed you’re pregnant.
