We had the tutti Bambini cozee and it did the job and sometimes is on sale at Argos 😊. Can also buy 2nd hand

Snuzpod. Got second hand but did buy a new mattress. Then used it as a storage container for my book/glasses/handcream as baby slept next to it in our bed! Was good though and height adjustable.

Snuzpod! They are safe and solid. We also bought a new mattress but got the snuzpod cot second hand. You only use them for 6 months (unless you plan on having more kids of course) but even then a second hand one will still last

We also had the tutti bambini cozee crib and it was great - we’ll soon be using it for baby no 2. We got it on sale from Wayfair IIRC. It’s really handy as a travel cot during the first 6 months too as it easily folds down flat.

We're currently using the snuzpod and it's working well for us! Managed to find it on vinted for £50 so definitely check for second hand as ours had basically never been used so we just got a new mattress

Snuzpod

Chicco next to me. I liked that it has multiple height positions so fitted next to our bed well and you can incline the top which is good for reflux or if baby has a cold. And because they are so popular they are easy to pick up second hand and buy mattresses for.

Chico next to me forever crib.

Would highly recommend with all my children they all loved the next to me crib with this crib it means they can continue to stay in the same crib in your room for an extended period which is fantastic because by 6 months they may have settled and got used to it. Also means you don't have to rush out to buy a cotbed if you don't want to.

I felt the same! Originally I wanted one of those fancy net ones with the co sleeping zip sides etc but when I went to look at them they were all plastic and rickety and huuuuge and I hated them! I ended up buying a lovely Kinder Valley moses basket from boots. It's a lot smaller, less fussy and looks pretty and the fabric is so soft. Go with your gut OP! Essentially whatever you buy, the baby will be fine in it so long as you buy it from somewhere reputable!

A few people have mentioned snuzpods, I liked those too!

MadMadamMimz · 25/01/2024 10:55

Another vote for Snuzpod. If you shop around you can usually get a good deal on it but there will also be loads floating around second hand on good condition as they are in them for such a short amount of time.

Inyourwildestdreams · 25/01/2024 10:58

We used the Snuzpod. Our bedroom and livingroom are on the same level I’m the house so I liked that the top came off the Snuzpod and I could take it to the livingroom during the day to use instead of having a separate Moses basket or something in there 😊

Whataretheodds · 25/01/2024 10:58

I'm about to use a snuzpod (secondhand with new mattress) because it was the only thing that would fit next to my bed and the wall.

FlyingHighFlyingLow · 25/01/2024 10:59

We have the tutti bambini also and baby (usually) sleeps in it quite happily.

TTCbaby2023 · 25/01/2024 12:22

I will be using the Snuzpod as well. Size wise it was the best fit and saw so many good reviews about it. Hopefully we will be happy with it too when she comes 😊
