Do I take a test?

Hi all, I was on the injection for 2 years and then I came off for around a year and I have recently gone back on it and had 2 lots of injections (my second batch is due to expire in around 2/3 weeks). Since I’ve been on the injection I’ve never had a period or spotted or had any cramping etc. the last few days I have started spotting lightly with brown discharge and I have also had diarrhoea, feeling a bit dizzy and some mild cramps. Should I take a test? Has anyone else been in this situation and can shed some light? Thank you! Any help appreciated 🙂

Those symptoms suggest you're about to get a period. Have you had unprotected sex recently?

Thanks for your reply! Yes I’ve been with my partner for almost 10 months and as I’m on the injection has always been unprotected. I’ve been spotting for the last week and there’s no signs of actual period which is why I’m slightly worried !

I would do one just for peace of mind
