Mixed growth sample

I just got a letter to say I need to repeat a urine sample due to mixed growth. Wondering if cyclogest in any way skews results?!

Hi, no it shouldn't. Mixed growth is growth of bacteria so the pessary wouldn't show up as bacteria under the microscope. Could mean you were brewing a UTI that hadn't fully developed, or maybe you've just fought one off. Another sample should be more definitive. Best of luck!
