Do you get to see baby at pre-term clinic?

Hello

Im having my first pre-term clinic this week due to having a LLETZ procedure after a smear about 10 years ago. I have been told I will have a transvaginal scan to check length of cervix.

I was just wondering if anybody knows if you also get to have a scan of the baby at the same time?

I absolutely love seeing them and would love to get an extra sneaky view! also if we are likely to see baby I won't go in on my own.

TIA xx

Yep! Every time :) I had scans for cervical length.

Yes, and they printed off a pic for me each time! One of them's on the fridge, it was much better quality than the ones I got at my scans Smile

I had the same scan at 14w and was just show a quick flash of the baby and reassurance he looked fine. I’d only have my 12w scan 2 weeks prior and all was well so that was enough for me. I guess if I was worried I could’ve asked for a longer look
