Private scan - not looking good

I’ve been having issues with my pregnancy. 9 days ago I had to attend EPAU as I’d been having heavy bleeding. They dated me at 6+1 9 days ago and said they could see a sack/yolk but no fetal pole. I was told there is a bleed in my womb and that’s what’s caused the heavy bleeding.

Today I had a private scan and the sonographer said I am 7+6. She said she could see a baby but measuring small and no heartbeat. She couldn’t give me any further details but referred me to EPAU.

Im now booked in for a scan tomorrow with EPAU and I really don’t know what to think. My head is all over the place. Has anyone got any advice?

I’m sorry OP, what a worrying time for you. I haven’t experienced this so I don’t have any advice I’m afraid but didn’t want to read and run. All sorts of strange things can happen in pregnancy although it is hard sometimes not to think the worst. I would try not to agonise over it too much (easier said than done I know!) until tomorrow when someone can confirm for you either way. Fingers crossed for you.

Hi op, you havent mentioned how far along your supposed to be?
Unfortunately nobody can give you any advice as its sadly a waiting game. It could go either way. Unfortunately some babies hearts do stop beating especially this early, and occasionally a heart beat can be missed which is why a second scan is recommended to double check. How far behind is baby measuring
