Tooth extraction in first trimester

Hi has anyone had a tooth extracted in the first trimester? Iv been told I need deep tooth canal treatment in my tooth cuz it's dead. I'm concerned it won't work after reading so many negative outcomes. It will cost a lot of money plus a crown will be needed. Just wondering if it was safe to have an extraction? I'm very anxious as this is my 4th pregnancy after 3 losses x

Personally I would hold off. I had to have 2 teeth extracted and they waited until after my son was born.
It was very painful afterwards as couldn't eat much and I can't imagine having that done in first trimester. My sickness was horrendous and I wouldn't have been able to sit for it.

It is safe to have a tooth extraction in the first trimester under local anaesthetic, some people recommend waiting till the second trimester or postponing till after birth but there's no medical basis to this. It just depends whether you are happy to have a tooth removed whilst being pregnant
