Possible miscarriage 8 weeks

Hey. I'm 8 weeks pregnant. Had an early scan last week at 7 weeks and heard baby's heartbeat and all was ok. Last night I had very light spotting and today I've had light bleeding on and off, only on tissue when I wipe and looks pink watery. I've mild cramps, nothing major. Rang EPU and seeing them in the morning for a scan. Just looking for some positive outcomes. I'm still experiencing morning sickness/all day nausea and breast tenderness. Just concerned cos of bleeding with some cramping. I had a MMC previously so don't know how a miscarriage will start without medical management.

It's hard to say unfortunately. Glad EPU are seeing you so soon to put you at ease hopefully.

I bled through first trimester and it was so tough everytime seeing blood. I thought the worse over and over. It escalated to huge bright red bleeds in second trimester. No cause ever found and it just randomly stopped around 25/26 weeks.

Now ready to drop in the next 2 weeks!

Hoping the best for you x

@FriedSmartie I had exactly what you are describing (pink watery, bit of blood) at around 8wks. Called my EPU and they got me in for a scan the next day. I was absolutely convinced I'd lost it after 3 losses last year (including a MMC - so sorry you've experienced it too). The first thing the sonographer said was 'theres a heartbeat'! I burst into tears. I really hope this will be the case for you too. Due to my previous losses I requested progesterone pessaries and have now been on those for two weeks since the scan and had another scan today with a wriggling healthy 10wk Bubba. It would be worth asking about progesterone too if all is well - I believe there is now protocol for it to be prescribed even with only one previous loss if there is any bleeding in pregnancy.

Everything crossed for you that it's a positive outcome. I know exactly how you're feeling and am sending so much love your way 💗💗💗

Thanks so much for the replies. @SnookyPook thanks that's really reassuring that you've experienced the same. I was looking up progesterone before and plan on asking about this as well tomorrow if we get good news. Fingers crossed. It's first thing in morning so at least I don't have to wait around all day worried and wondering.
