Hi all

I’ve read somewhere that you should have your booking appointment by 8 weeks cause there are certain tests that need to be carried out by then. I’ve just received my booking appointment for 12th Feb but I’ll roughly be 9w2d by then.

Is that too late or?

Booking appointment happens between 8-10 weeks so you’re fine. They just do a blood test but there’s no time limit. The restricted one is if you want the screening test that needs to be done by 14 weeks and happens at your scan

No booking appointments are usually between 8 and 10 weeks so that's perfect.

Re tests the cut off is 14 weeks and they're usually offered as part of a 12 week scan.

The pregnancy section of the NHS website will give you an overview of what appointments to expect for the timebeing.
