Bleeding 6w 2d - help?!

Hi all I started spotting Friday it was just pink tinges in my mucus and nothing more now and again when I wiped after urinating. This morning I had a bit more blood that was in the toilet and fresh. Cramps wise barely just light discomfort. I’ve been to a&e today and they did my bloods and said my hcg is perfect and discharged me. I have my early scan Thursday but since this afternoon I’m getting more cramps and I just had some more blood again.

I still have my pregnancy symptoms, tiredness, nausea, sore boobs, food aversions but worried this is the start of a miscarriage.

I had one at 5w 3d on November 1st and now I’m worried this will be another. When I miscarried last time my hcg had already dropped to 9 before I even miscarried so it gives me hope that my levels were high today however I’m getting worried that more blood is coming and I do have period style light cramps.

A&E should have referred you to EPU. Give them a call directly, and explain what is happening, they may try to do the early scan today. You can ask for progesterone from the EPU that will help with the bleeding.

I bled at almost the exact stage as you, just as you've described. Had another exactly four weeks later and nothing since, I'm now 22 weeks. Try not to panic, sending lots of luck and love x

@RMCx3 thank you I just tried to call them and no answer so I have sent them an email (I recall last time they seemed to finish at 3:30pm!! - it is in my time zone now) I still have my pregnancy symptoms and I just went to the bathroom and barely any blood it’s so hit and miss but there is some in my pad where as before this afternoon I didn’t need a pad at all xx

@Sa11yCinnamon thank you for your reply can I ask if you had slight cramps too? They’re not intense to make me bend over like period ones do or my miscarriage last time but I definitely have a crampy feeling down there. I also have bled into a pad not much but it’s there and I haven’t had to before but when I just wiped from urinating there was barely anything. I’m so stressed I feel more nauseas than ever xx

This happened to me Wednesday, went for a scan Thursday and I'd miscarried. I was 6+2. 4th miscarriage, altho it's not the case for everyone

Sending positive vibes. Keep pestering them by phone. If you feel that any point you need to be seen, during my MC i went to A&E and they referred me to EPU. It can just be a long wait to be seen but you are already there

@midnights0 so sorry to hear :( how heavy was your bleeding and were your cramps bad? My cramps are ever so light and the blood isn’t heavy but it’s there if that makes sense. X

I had a bleed at 5 weeks. Another big bleed at 9 weeks. Smaller bleed at 12 weeks.

Overall constant spotting until 16th weeks of pregnancy. I hated going to the toilet and seeing the red on the toilet tissue 🥺

My little boy is 1.5 years old now. Born healthy and is thriving now. It's a shame I could not really relax and enjoy the pregnancy. But I guess that's life Bleeding in pregnancy is so so common, I wish I knew about it.

@Flyingalone hi glad to hear yours was successful and you have a healthy boy! Did you have any cramps too? My cramps are very light barely need paracetamol tbh just discomfort tbh I feel the cramps when I’ve urinated then it goes but they said I don’t have a UTI xx

I had cramps but they're a pregnancy symptom?
I felt sick I felt fatigued I felt dizzy I felt stomach pain - it's all pregnancy :)

Unfortunately only time can tell here. I patiently waited for the weeks to pass. And tried to take it very easy, stopped running and rested in bed loads. X

When I was scared I was losing the baby, I used to read messages like yours and feel jealous yours is only spotting 😆 as mine were pretty heavy bleeds, like it would fill in a pad. It was so terrifying.

Then I started bleeding in Zara changing rooms and Obvs didn't have a pad on me or anything. Asked the staff and they gave me a tampon. I just sat there holding back tears 🥹 you'll be okay x

Can you do a private scan in a week?

Yes, had period-type cramps while bleeding and have had mild cramps on and off throughout - it's pretty normal as things stretch and move around x

@1111hope the weirdest thing was the cramps were so light, much lighter to what I've experienced before, it didn't feel like any of my miscarriages. And I probably only changed my pad 3x. The bleeding was light but in the toilet. I was suprised it was a miscarriage if I'm honest cos all the others have been heavy and painful

I had heavy bleeding over the weekend (soaked through bed sheets) went to a&e and got an internal scan and they said everything is totally fine, I was convinced I had miscarried.

I'm around 11 weeks.
No cramps as such, my stomach has felt a bit tender but not sure if I'm imagining it

@1111hope sorry you’re dealing with this, hope you’re okay and can absolutely relate. I had bleeding at 5-6 weeks which continued for about a week, it was dark mainly but did have some red and it stayed light, I also had cramps almost consistently until about 12 weeks (used to drive me mad!)

I had an early scan and they could see old blood so likely caused by implantation 🤷‍♀️

My 6 month old DD who caused that bleed is now asleep on my chest!
