Second hand next to me

I bought w second hand Ned to me from Vinted, I’ve binned mattress, as will replace. The material kinda smells like it’s been in a loft, I washed it and it still smells the same. Do I just wash again? I do I presume it’s unsafe? No visible mould

I’d just wash it again or maybe leave it in soke in the bath or sink with detergent and then wash it

My Next2Me came new with a very strong odour if that helps any.
Buy the new mattress asap as I aired mine for a couple weeks before and it still stank!

hang it out on the line for a few hours will help freshen it up
