3rd pregnancy and absolutely no symptoms at almost 6 weeks

Hi everyone

So I need some reassurance. I’ve been pregnant 5 times before and have 2 living children.

I had 3 miscarriages after my first live birth and then had a successful pregnancy(2nd live birth) after I was put on progesterone pessaries by the recurrent miscarriage clinic.

During my 2 successful pregnancies my morning sickness started mid way through week 5 if not earlier and it was horrendous and I was bed bound both times.

The only times I didn’t experience this was when my pregnancies ended in a miscarriage.

I’m now pregnant again and almost 6 weeks and have been prescribed the pessaries again and started taking them as soon as I found out I was pregnant.

However, I’ve still not had any symptoms whatsoever. If I hadn’t tested because I was late, I would’ve never found out I was pregnant.

I’m getting anxious because I really don’t want to go through it all again especially after experiencing a successful pregnancy.

Has anyone else had no symptoms during their 3rd pregnancy despite being seriously sick in the first 2.

Thank you in advance :)

No, but if it helps with my first two my MS started at 5.5 weeks, and with the third it was more like 6.5 weeks. Much milder with the third two 🤷 No sex difference to explain it or anything.
Hope there is good news for you.

Thank you! That makes me feel a little better because I’m not exactly 6 weeks yet.

I’ve been offered a scan at 8 weeks so will find out for sure then.

Thanks for responding again

I've had absolutely no symptoms and I'm 13 weeks pregnant. Just had a scan on Tues and baby was kicking away

@MoonIightDreamer congratulations! Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly!

Yeah I’ve heard about some women not having any symptoms but I think because I’ve already had strong symptoms in the previous 2 viable pregnancies, I’ve been stressing out and thinking the worst!

Hi I'm same, pregnant with my 3rd. With the first two I had sickness or bad nausea and felt run down. This time I feel fine and I'm just over 7 weeks. It is making me anxious but trying to get reassurance from others who have zero symptoms and all is fine. Can't wait to get to the dating scan.

@Brookes19 I totally understand how you feel. I’ve got zero symptoms but I’ve been offered a scan at 8 weeks because of my history of MCs so I’m looking forward to that, at least I’ll know for sure.

Fingers crossed all is well and we just managed to dodge sickness this time haha
