Hi just wondering I feel so terrible right now
i had a VBAC a couple of weeks ago after 2 sections
very quick dilation after waters went 4-9cm in 20 min which was odd as I’d never got past 3cm before

i was very distressed during contractions and kept begging for epidural or a section despite VBAC being on the plan

i have autism and couldn’t cope with my body doing something by itself without my permission that made me quite angry

anyway there was some decelerations in heart beat and they did an epistiotomy and ventouse
doc was in front of me most of the time midwives couldn’t do the hot compress thing
and I don’t remember them asking me to pause as head was crowning

I need to know if they did these interventions for the baby’s medical need or just because I couldn’t handle any more pain? I did hear a midwife say they did it because I was begging for epidural but was too late

I remember agreeing to ventouse but didn’t get asked about the epistio
