OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Echobelly · 07/01/2024 21:26

I did - they were both around about 3.5kg/7.7lb , very close in weight.

Sunflwer · 07/01/2024 21:28

I have multiple of each sex. They were all in the same ballpark within half a pound, but one of the girls was a pound heavier than the rest.

Sandsnake · 07/01/2024 21:31

My DS and DD were pretty much identical gestations and weights.

HollyBerryCrumble · 07/01/2024 21:33

Yup. I had a boy after 2 girls and he was massive!

DD1 - 3.28kg
DD2 - 3.5kg
DS - 4.7kg (10lb6!)

BUT it was still all fine. He was born at home with zero complications or issues!! And he is still very tall as a primary age child!

Naptrappedmummy · 07/01/2024 21:33

DS was 1.5lb heavier than DD and born 5 days later in gestation. He was second baby though and I’ve heard they’re often heavier.

WDKYMYS · 07/01/2024 21:34

My boy was 2 pound heavier than my girl.

Wooloohooloo · 07/01/2024 21:34

Girl was bigger by about a pound I think.

Soubriquet · 07/01/2024 21:35

Girl born at 38+ 4 weighing 5lb 13 oz
Boy born at 37+3 weighing 5lb 4 oz

Trinity69 · 07/01/2024 21:36

Boy, first baby, 10 days early, 6lb 15.
Girl, second, a few days early, 7lb 12.

PaintingPictures · 07/01/2024 21:36

My daughter weighed more than my son but I went a week over with her. If she was born at same number of weeks as my son, she’d probably have been the same.

FailingAtEverythingAgain · 07/01/2024 21:37

DS was born at 41+5 weighing 3740g
DD born at 41+2 weighing 3820g

DowntonCrabby · 07/01/2024 21:40

Yes, DD was 9lb 10oz and DS was 11lb!

mummyh2016 · 07/01/2024 21:40

DD born at 38 weeks exactly, weighed 6lb8oz.
DS born at 38+2, weighed 7lb7oz.

return2sender · 07/01/2024 21:43

My son was 8lb 13oz.

My daughter 9lb.

carrotsnparsnips · 07/01/2024 21:48

oh wow, really varies then 😅

OP posts:
Campinginthewinter · 07/01/2024 21:49

My boy was a bit bigger - 8lbs 2 oz, my girl was 7lbs 6.

TokyoSushi · 07/01/2024 21:50

8lb 1.5 for DS, 8lb 2 for DD, so basically the same!

shivbo2014 · 07/01/2024 21:51

DD 7lb 15
DS (second baby) 8lb 4

DanceMumTaxi · 07/01/2024 21:52

Dc1 boy 7lb 9oz
Dc2 girl 6lb 3oz

SallyWD · 07/01/2024 22:13

DD (my first) was 7lbs, DS was 7.5lbs so neither were massive. DS was a very chubby baby but has been a very skinny child ever since.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 07/01/2024 22:19

OP, I’m in the same boat as you!

DD1 - 8lb 6oz at 40+5
DD2 - 8lb 2oz at 40+2
DS due in April

My DH was 9lb 12oz when he was born. 😬 Midwife measured my bump as 2 weeks ahead at my 25w appointment but she said she thinks that’s because he’s lying sideways. I’m definitely much bigger this time than in my last two pregnancies.

Wildflowers81 · 07/01/2024 22:22

DD 40+4 6lb11
DS 38+1 6lb14

4.5yrs between them, DS at 7 nearly as tall as slight DD.

Cheepcheepcheep · 07/01/2024 22:27

Nope, 9lb girl followed by 7.5lb boy.

DD born at 40+3 and DS at 39+1 though…

Quickredfox · 07/01/2024 22:29

Girl 7lb, boy 5lb

ellesbellesxxx · 07/01/2024 22:32
