I am having my first midwife appointment on Wednesday.

What questions should I be asking?

First timer so a bit clueless - all suggestions gratefully received.

i would just find out how often you can expect to be seen, when the scans are, whether the care is just midwife led or shared with the GP and whehter you are able to find out the sex in the area you live so you can decide whether or not you want to without it being a pointless decision! what are the choices re where to give birth and pros of each one etc. do they run nhs antenatal classes and how do you get on one

Tbh, she'll probably tell you everything, and then in then in 4 weeks you can ask her anything else you've forgotten.

You'll be bombarded with so many questions and so much information that you won't want to ask any questions yourself! That was my experience, anyway. I would recommend that you ask about scans (assuming that she don't bring them up, which is unlikely), as you may need to book them yourself.
