this may sounds like a silly question, but are we OK to sit/lie down on electric blankets?

I'm obviously not overheating but just trying to keep myself warm.

Its not the same but I asked if I could use a hot water bottle when i was pregnant, constant bad back meant I used it a lot and they said in short spurts it was fine

Use an underblanket, and I cannot for the life of me, understand why you think you might not be able to lie on it! Of course you can.

@Dillydollydingdong I know! I think I'm going into full paranoid mode. Trying not to overheat,

I’m 38 weeks pregnant and love my electric blanket and have used it since the start :) just don’t overheat :)

I did alot of reading on this exact issue and lots of mumsnetters advised me not to be daft but after everything I'd read i decided to avoid the electric blanket out of paranoia
