Before i got pregnant, i used to take a prescribed antibiotics to help with my rosacea. However, this tablet cant be taken when pregnant. I'm normally not bothered by my rosacea and I just get on with my day. However, the last few weeks , its really flared up. I use a recommended natural soap from Carbon theory that has tea tree and Charcoal to cleanse my face. I have also started using the Dr Jart cicapair correcting treatment to wear to work. This seems to take away most of the redness but not always.

Im looking for something hydrating that will take away the redness or even make it less sensitive.

I have sensitive skin so I cant use anything too harsh.

thank you :)

Check if you can use cream called Rosex. You can get it from the online pharmacies so don't have to go to your GP (I just had to send a photo online). It cleared mine extremely quickly and it has never come back to the same extent. Whenever I see a little redness I just put a tiny smear on and I don't see anything again for a few months at least. Mine was quite bad as well.

I only got rosacea during my second pregnancy and nothing has worked so far for me, probably not what you wanted to hear. It’s been 3 years, sometimes it’s worse than others but it’s always very visible

I wonder if you could check with the GP whether that's just a standard response or whether it has any actual contraindications? As it's just a very thin layer of cream on your face I would be surprised if any of the ingredients would be harmful if used for a couple of weeks. However I am very far from being a doctor!! So could be worth an email to one of the online pharmacy docs just to check. Otherwise write the name down and order some before your due date!
Congrats on your pregnancy btw Flowers
