so I don’t know if I’m overthinking this or if I genuinely am but I’m going insane. I’m 22, Me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex, I had my period last month which is always due at the end of the month however this month it’s a no show. I’m now 7 days late and my body feels different. My back and nipples are so sore and I’m soooo hungry (which is really unusual for me as I normally don’t even eat 3 meals a day) and I’m really tired and keep getting sore heads. I did a test the day before my period was due. Not sure why I just felt like I had to, It had the faintest line but I did a digital and that came back negative. I have done a test (different brands) every day since then and they’re negative. Usually by now I would shrug it off but I can’t help that feel that it’s wrong, now on day 7 I’m really bloated to the point my boyfriend noticed and I’m quite petite so it’s unusual. I feel like my nipples are darker and I’ve been having the weirdest dreams that feel very real. And sorry if tmi because this is embarrassing 😂 but I had a dream I was going to the toilet and actually wet the bed, this has never ever happened and I’m just really confused to what’s going on. Is it possible I could be pregnant but this isn’t showing on a test? I need all the advice I can get TIA X

Sorry to say but at 7 days late I’d expect a positive test, no matter what time of the day you did the test.
It could be a very irregular period this month, have you been stressed or unwell?
You could make an appointment at the gp and ask for a blood test to double check.

Or you could not be late yet. Unless you tested for your ovulation it could be that you happened to ovulate later than usual. It happened to me. Well i ovulated 5 days later than my usual, which then pushes AF back by that many days too. Well AF or lack of one if pg. If it goes on too long though contact your gp and see what they say.

The symptoms you described can occur as progesterone rises. Completely normal .
If your 7 days late and tests are negative then your likely not pregnant and your just having a late cycle. Your progesterone will be heightened for longer which explains the symptoms

Well I’ve just received my first positive using a first response test. 😆 I’m going to test again to be extra sure and then phone the docs tomorrow morning. I’m assuming I just didn’t have enough hcg levels built up till now? But I’m so happy. Can’t wait to break the news to my partner
