Hi - I have been getting a dull ache/throb in my lower right hand abdomen/groin area since 4 weeks pregnant (now 6 and a half) - its constant and is giving me back ache and a sort of dead leg as well as random pins and needles! I have had an early scan which has ruled out ectopic and cysts, no UTI and GP says unlikely to be appendix as its not tender when pushed. Has anyone experienced anything similar?! Any ideas what it could be?! Thanks.

Could be a corpus luteum cyst? I remember seeing stuff online about the corpus luteum cyst when I was in early pregnancy with twinges and wondered if that was causing it. I can't tell you anything about it though so Google might be your friend 😂

Thank you so much for replying ❤️

I thought it could have been that as well, but the notes from my early scan say the corpus luteum is on the left, and my pain is on the right… such a mystery.

Hi did you ever find out what caused this I have the same thing at nearly 6 weeks pregnant

I’m sorry I didn’t! Everything ‘sinister’ has been ruled out, however I still have the ache, particularly now in my back (14 weeks pregnant). Starting physio this week.

Hope it eases you for. @CN1126
