I lost part of my plug this morning. I’m only 32 weeks pregnant. I know it can take a while even after losing the whole plug but this has made me a bit nervous. Has anyone managed to hold off for 5 weeks after starting to lose theirs?

Think I was 2-3 days. I'd contact your midwife or local maternity triage to be on the safe side, they can check and possibly delay things or reassure you.

I started labour just a few hours after losing mine.

With DC1 I lost mine around 40 weeks but still had to be induced at 42 weeks as no signs of labour starting naturally any time soon!

Maybe 36 hours? Something like that.

2 days for me

I’ve spoken to my midwife and she’s happy that if it was only a small part then it probably isn’t an indication that labour will start imminently. I’m on the watch for preterm symptoms though because my last was born very early. I could really do with getting to week 39 this time with the work commitments I have but I guess baby has their own timeline 🤣
