Boy nub

Do we think this is a boy nub? My scan was 11+3 which I thought all nubs are meant to look girly but all experts have said boy

Not 100% sure nub is visible as it’s not the clearest, but I can only see what may be straight nubs which is what you would expect at this stage as nub won’t have risen. Nothing there looks boyish to me

@PickledScrump i thought that too but they have said the top white line is a penis and has risen

That top line is definitely still parallel to the spine Although it looks too high for the nub, if anything the one below is more likely. I hope you didn’t pay for the experts as there is no penis at that gestation, just a nub.

@PickledScrump that’s what I thought! It does look really high, I have attached the findings here. I think it must mean where the penis would develop, I did ask them about the line below and they said that’s part of the babies rump

Even with their drawing I don’t see the rise. Also they’re trying to say there’s a penis and scrotum so I’d be immediately discounting them. That early there’s just a tubercle, it doesn’t change into discernible genitalia until week 14/15.

Theres a few Facebook groups that will have a look for free and may be able to tell you more as they are very good. It may well be a boy but I don’t think I’d be going by their predictions

@PickledScrump i don’t mind what gender the baby is, I just did the nub theory as I’m impatient but then got confused when they said the nub had risen as I didn’t think it could at that gestation, I have a gender scan next week so it isn’t long until we find out!
