When did you call epu? Only after a big bleed? After days of spotting?
I was told I have a sch at a scan last Friday at 7 weeks (had spotting prior which was reason for scan).
spotting had settled before scan but since having the scan I’ve had brownish spotting/discharge on and off for a week since.
would you have rang epu again or just assume that it is the sch making its way out? I dont want to waste time or seem dramatic 🙈
it was a trans vaginal ultrasound

Hey, how big is your SCH?

I had a scan at 6 weeks 5days & all was fine heartbeat found. But also found a 2cm SCH. Now I am 8 weeks and have had brown when wiping, tiny bit dropping in the toilet, and more comes out when passing a stool. Cannot stop overthinking! I currently have the flu so always have some tummy cramps and gas. 😔 I called EPU and they said not to worry unless it is bright red and big cramps.

Unless bleeding becomes enough that they suspect miscarriage, I don’t think they would scan you again (and if they thought potential miscarriage, won’t be for 1-2 weeks so they can confirm).

always worth a call to EPU to ask though, they’ll get 1000s or similar calls and be happy to discuss I’m sure.

They didnt give me messurements 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ is 2cm considered a big one or no? I imagine if it was a big one they would have said to me?

Well after they found it they completely didn’t go into detail about it just told me I have one and may experience some more light bleeding and to not worry it is normal. But of course google says negative things about it 😅 so that has made me worry more. They gave me a report of my scan after and I worked out that the sac is 1cm and SCH 2cm.

ive read some ladies experience 10cm plus ones and have to bed rest. I’m sure if yours was large and something to worry about they would tell you! So try not to worry.
I called the EPU and they was more than happy to answer all my questions.

have had brown spotting 4 days now 🥹

I’m okay I think.. I still have light spotting nearly every other day. mostly brown, but sometimes red. I’ve had sex a couple times and has been red blood after. But no major bleeding or cramps ..
EPU won’t see me. So 12 weeks scan will be my next scan end of January. But I booked a private one to reassure myself.. which is on Wednesday! ☺️🤞🏼
How are you getting on?

I hope this is of some comfort. This was me a year ago reading posts on here after huge bleeds and a large SCH on every scan until they couldn’t see the area any more. I lost a doughnut sized clot, and had heavy bleeding over a dozen times. My baby is now asleep beside me and it didn’t cause any complications despite scaring the life out of me. I was utterly convinced things were going very wrong but DD is here safely.
