Bleeding during pregnancy

Hi everyone.
I am currently 14+5 and having regular heavy bleeds. This started at 5 weeks. From around 10 weeks I started passing clots with Christmas Eve being particularly bad.
I called the midwife who sent me to EPU who did an internal and spotted a polyp on my cervix. I have been booked in for a scan next week.

following my internal exam my bleeding has increased with the clots I am passing now looking larger. I thought it had settled yesterday but nope this morning I have mild cramps and am bleeding again.
has anyone else been through this?

Every day is constant anxiety, I’m not myself I feel so worried and down. How often do I call and tell the midwife? Feel they are sick of me. Any advice would be appreciated.

Aw I’m so sorry you are going through this 😞 sounds very stressful and I think you should definitely phone them and express how anxious this is making you. Don’t ever feel you’re being an inconvenience, this is really important and you should update them as it might warrant you getting seen sooner? 🤷🏼‍♀️
I’ve Not experienced this, I’m just 7+5 but I have had bleeding since yesterday and it’s so upsetting.
Hope everything turns out ok 🙏🏼

Thank you so much for your reply. I hope it stops for you soon. Ive been told it’s very common within 1st 12 weeks. Please keep us updated.

I will call consultant I think and go from there, not having much joy with the midwives.

Never feel as though you're bothering them. That's what they're there for. Call the midwife or local birthing centre and try & get in to get checked. Hope everything is ok OP.
