Slow miscarriage??

Looking for experiences. I’m around 7 weeks pregnant… been experiencing brown discharge on wiping for 2 weeks which has now turned red when I wipe (very little on a pad). Had a scan last week where fetal pole was seen but told too early for heartbeat. I’m on hol so next scan isn’t until the 8th Jan. I’m not cramping etc… is this a slow miscarriage? (An ovarian cyst was seen during scan I had 2 weeks ago). Thanks xx

I've bled with all of my pregnancies (3)

Do you bleed after sex? I think my cervix is more delicate generally and so I've put it down to that.

No cramping and a digital still says 3+. Not feeling positive..the unknown is torture! But nothing I can do….thanks for replying x

I think impossible to tell without a scan. The pregnancy test is encouraging. With my experience of a miscarriage it showed 1-2 weeks and never changed, even at 7 weeks pregnant. The increasing bleeding is a concern but not necessarily a miscarriage. I think you need to wait for the scan tbh. Good luck

Did they take your bloods? I had a similar experience with one of my miscarriages and they took weekly bloods until my HCG level had fallen significantly enough to confirm a miscarriage. It took weeks.
I also have friends who have bled throughout pregnancies and have gone to term.
The not knowing is awful. Hugs to you and I hope you have someone looking after you.

I had the same - bleeding nearly every day from 4 weeks until about 8 weeks and it’s all turned out fine. The cyst is probably the corpus luteum - they told me I had 2 cysts on my ovary when I paid for a private scan at 8 weeks and all gone at the 12 week scan. Just telling you this to give you some hope as it’s nothing you can control now - I really hope it’s good news for you too!
