Early labour or normal?

I’m 33+4 today. I was sick at 1am Christmas morning, followed by back pain and stomach pain on and off. Then had diarrhoea an hour later. Increased Braxton-Hicks contractions since then but not much else over Christmas Day or Boxing Day. Then early hours today I was sick again and was having stomach pains irregularly for a couple minutes at a time. Didn’t wake up today until 1pm and have only had one instance of stomach pain. Usual discharge and no sign of mucus plug or waters. Is this likely to be my new normal from now until birth since it happens more at night? It’s starting to bother me as I’m getting upset not knowing what is going on and my partner is also becoming anxious. I would really appreciate any advice from anyone who’s been in a similar situation

Could be braxton hicks. But if you are worried ask your midwife about assessment.

This feels different to the usual braxton hicks I've had, which is why I'm so unsure. My usual BH are period like back pain, this stomach pain is an uncomfortable and painful feeling, but not overwhelmingly so

Mm I wouldn’t say early labour either. More like BH. My early labour experience lasted 2 days. Regular period like cramps that I could time and happened every 8min on the dot. Then had diarrhoea twice, mucous plug fell out and waters went- this all happened in the space of an hour. Bub was born a few hours later. Unless it’s regular cramps you can actually time, I wouldn’t think it’s early labour. But then again, everyone’s experience is different. Good luck!

If you think it could be something go into the hospital! They’ll hook you up on the ctg machine and they’ll be able to tell if it’s contractions.

I had this from week 34-37 barely slept and was sore and grumpy. Baby was born at 39+4

I guess that's a good and bad thing, good if it's normal but bad if I'll be like this for weeks

could of wrote this myself currently 33+2 and been experience the exact same! That's crazy, I've come to conclusion maybe it's our bodies clearing itself out ready for the big day!? Was the pain in your stomach like a sharp sudden pain then had to go to toilet? As this what mine felt like & I have had diarrhea also then after finishing toilet & sitting down on sofa my belly was tense for a few mins then would relax but not of any particular pattern so obviously just like braxton hicks. Good to know I'm clearly not the only one to experience this! x

The diarrhoea kind of just crept up on me but I had a short amount of pain beforehand. I was a bit like oh dear after reading it can be a symptom of going into labour soon. I'm just a bit confused as to why I'm being sick every night and getting stomach pains that aren't my usual
