Triangular bump...what's all that about?

Why does my bump (34 weeks) sometimes go triangular? Is this braxton hicks? Also why do I get a kind of breathless palpitation feeling sometimes when it's all solid, is that braxton hicks?

it could be your baby moving. braxton hicks is a pain that rises over your body getting stronger then stops after about 5mins.false contractions.they use to freeze me to the spot so you will know if you get them.i reckon the shapes and fluttering is your little one fidgeting about!

Hello Macaco,
you might like to see this thread that has been discussing the triangular stomach thing.

I get it too (and have been freaking my DH out by showing him) it's basically your stomch muscles (which will have now separated) and when you engage them, eg by sitting up, sneezing etc, they squeeze and do the triangular thing. At the moment I am happy that this means I had them in the first place, whether you get them back is another matter....
I can't offer any advice on the breathless palpitations I'm afraid but I don't think is connected to the triangle stomach thing.
