i have think pain on my right hand side, im sure its the baby- its really painful, been liek this for a few days on and off, but now in unbearable

help...

( i have a stubborn baby ( DOES NOT MOVE POSITIONS), who is in breech position, so im assumign the head is going into my ribs)thanks

Why don't you try a chiropractor - I had a terible pain for most of my second pregnancy and when I went to a chiropracotr duringmy third it did not ocme at all.

It felt like my rib had dislodged

yeh thats what it feels like, really painful...

i had it too, when baby grew to just under rib cage size. went on for a couple of weeks, then stopped completely. was unbearable sometimes, and just on one side

Sounds like rib flare, really sore- had it with both of mine. Physio exercises really help so try to see one if you can.

BUT just in case- epigastric pain (high abdominal pain) especially on the right sign can be a sign of pre-eclampsia. I don't wish to scare anyone but this was my fist symptom of PE with DC1 and by that time I was actually very poorly (but had had no idea) and when diagnosed I was so ill DS had to be delivered at 30 weeks. So if the pain doesn't seem to ease do speak to your midwife asap and get them to carefully compare your BP with your booking BP and check for protein in your urine. A major difference between rib flare and epigastric pain is that rib flare eases a bit if you raise your arms above your head (i.e. stretch up) as this should pull your ribs above your baby and relieve the strain a little.

my dd had her foot stuck in ,y ribs and fractured one.When she was born her foot was twisted but soon got sorted.

When I had ds 14 weeks ago I got very little rib pain but he engaged quite quickly and I got pain at other end instead!

You have my sympathies its awful

DS1 was oblique (head down) and the RH rib pain was awful.
