Does anyone know what the best kind of bra to get? I don't have big boobs but given I'm pregnant I didn't know if wired or non wired is best. Or just let them sit 😂.

Non wired as best. You can get maternity bras and or nursing bras

I just wore sports bras. Non wired. You're not going to want wire the bigger you get

You can wear wired as long as they're the correct fit, the reason people generally suggest non-wired is because so many women are incorrectly fitted. Wearing the wrong size non-wired won't really cause much issue, wearing too small a wired cup can dig into the milk ducts at the sides. So if you still prefer wired it's absolutely fine but only do so if you're fitted by Bravissimo, Boob Or Bust etc- avoid M&S like the plague and you'll be fine.

PS a properly fitted sports bra will be even more firm than a regular wired bra so it's a strange suggestion unless the person's wearing the wrong size themselves. There's plenty of great fitting soft cups that would be way more comfortable for you such as Royce, Hot Milk, Panache etc.

Is M&S that bad?

Yes M&S really is that bad. I worked for Bravissimo for years and spent a large amount of my time correcting M&S fits. There were many customers who worked for M&S themselves and still came to Bravissimo for fittings instead cause they knew how bad their own fitting service was. It's cause they use the old method of adding inches which isn't effective now since bra bands ate stretchier than they were at the time, so they end up putting people in bigger back bands and smaller cups than they actually need.

Oh wow... that's really bad! I'm glad you told me this so I don't go there, I think the only place we have here for fittings is m&so and Ann summers that's it.

@Jeyla1230 if you go onto Bravissimo's website they offer a virtual fitting service or there's a great Boob Or Bust page on Facebook where there'll be loads of helpful people that can show you how to find your size. Hope that helps.

Just make sure they fit properly, beyond that it’s just personal preference as to style or wired versus non wired. I wore wired bras throughout both of mine. DC1 I went up a cup size but permanently stayed there so I didn’t buy any bras specifically for being pregnant with DC2.
