My 2 yr old ds just came charging to me and his head hit me directly in the front pelvic area, where the baby would be

Im only 3 weeks pregnant, and it took me 3 years to get pregnant, im soo worried that it may be harmed, or something awful !!!
Should i do anything?

At 3 weeks it will be so tiny and so protected by you that it is doubtful anything bad would have happened to it. Just watch out for any pain and/or bleeding. It literally is just a bunch of cells at this age. Congratulations though.

I heard of a lady (who didn't realise she was pregnant at the time) parchuted out of a plane. Something went wrong and she fell to earth and broke her pelvis etc and yet the little unborn baby was just fine, isn't that amazing.

Congratulations

I Guess if the little bugger wants to stay, then he/she will...

It's fine, really. Someone on my due date group on another board actually got hit in the abdomen/pelvis by recoiling ammunition/gun/something like that (sorry, it was a few months ago and my head is full of cotton wool, but she is in the military and something went wrong on some kind of training exercise) at around 7/8 weeks and she was fine.

At three weeks, as avenanap says, the baby is just a bunch of cells with lots of layers of fluid and uterus and muscle and fat protecting it. It really is thoroughly cushioned in there.

Here is the case BabiesEverywhere mentioned, by the way.
