Favourite TV Shows/Films for Early Labour

Hello! I’m nearly 36 weeks and getting organised for the big day. I’ve started making a list of some go-to funny/heartwarming tv shows and films to help cope with the first part of labour at home.

Here are some of my favourites - would love to know what’s on your watch list! :)

TV Series:
-Friends
-Brooklyn 99
-Friday Night Dinner
-Motherland
-Cuckoo

Films:
-Paddington 2

We had The Simpsons series 3-8 loaded on the laptop for the last baby and that was perfect - visually distracting, high joke count, no plot to follow because I knew them all well. This time round I think I'll go for Supertroopers which is one of the silliest films ever made.

If you like those tv shows you’d probably like
The Office (US and UK) if you haven’t already seen it. There are also quite a lot of light hearted comedies on BBC - Bad Education, Two Doors Down and Hebburn are all good. Good luck and hope your labour isn’t too long!

My list was very similar to yours. Also, the office (I prefer the American version personally), Schitts Creek and Stath Lets Flats.

erm- i didn't even know i was in early labour with none of my 3. the contractions started quick and intense and was only in hospital 2 hours with my first before i had her and each baby got quicker. i didn't have time to watch anything.

Some great recommendations here thank you! How could I forget Stath Lets Flats?! I’ve also added Ghosts :)
