Measuring behind but developing-thoughts?

I went for an early scan today after some brown discharge (which is still slightly there). I was measuring just under 6 weeks with a small fetal pole. At an early scan last week (before the spotting) I was 5 weeks no fetal pole. I’m still a couple weeks behind where I thought I was (ovulated around 8th November)
Sonographer was lovely and said it’s 50/50.. being rescanned in 3 weeks.
Any thoughts pls? Xx

You mentioned ovulating 8th November were you tracking ovulation, and did you test two weeks after that? There is no chance that you were a week or so later?

Have you gone to your EPU? Three weeks is a long time to wait for a rescan, when I had one they said two weeks.

Hi yes was at an EPU… it would be 2 weeks but I am on holiday until the 8th x

How long ago did you get your positive test?

I went for a scan when I was sure I was 6 weeks, in previous pregnancies at that point I'd seen a foetal pole with a heartbeat. This time there wasn't even a sack, nothing. The sonographer said it was a possibility that it was ectopic, or an early miscarriage. I went back 2 weeks later and there was a little blob with a heartbeat! I had been so sure on my dates but they were out by about 10 days. Anyway he's 6 months old now! I hope all goes well for you!
